Ashley is going to kill me………………………yes, kill me.    I have written a rap song……………..yes, a rap song.   

Oh well, she never responded to me as to whether I should post a rap song or not, so here it is!

Hey, ho – all my homeboys and homegirls in the house……………….. here’s a little recession ditty to help us get through these tough times.

Here’s a little story ‘bout a guy named Ray.  He had a job, a nice house and a 401K.

One day that all changed for Ray and his fam’.  He lost his job, his house…..he felt like less of a man.

He’d always worked hard at all he had done.  He felt so alone….like he had no friends - not a one.

“Hey, you’re going too fast with the rhythm so let’s all slow it down a bit……”

When the stock market crashed he lost it all in a day.  He wished someone could step in and tell him it would all be okay.

He went to unemployment but had NO luck.  He wanted to cry and just say #*@%!

Where does he turn and what should he do?  He’s feeling quite lost and so very blue.

He wakes up one morning to CNN……… to hear that the government is going to step in.  With a glimmer of hope and a spring in his step, he gets out of bed and calls his stock market rep.

His rep. informs him his ‘folio is in the tank…..and all of his other investments have no rank.  So the best thing to do is cash out for the dough.  Now his net worth is zilch which makes him say “whoa!”

He has no moolah for his everyday livin’ and screw that he has nothin’ to share or be givin’.  What does he do and where should he turn?  He’s at his wit’s end and has no way to earn.

He considers hocking all of their belongings………………his suits, his silver, even their rings.  He has to make ends meet somehow, someway.  So he turns to selling ………….. thank God for ebay!

He’ll figure out something else when he has no more goods, but for now he’s just doing what he should.  He’s putting food on the table and saving up once again…………and goin’ to Wal-Mart to provide for his kin.
